Itinerary

📅 Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (180 km / 7 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station / Airport and drive to Barkot, a scenic hill station at the foothills of Yamunotri.

🌊 En route, optional visit to Kempty Falls (if time permits).

🏨 Check-in at the hotel/camp.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Barkot.

 


 

📅 Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot

 

🚗 Drive to Janki Chatti (45 km).

🚶 Start the 6 km trek to Yamunotri (Pony/Palki available at additional cost).

🛕 Darshan & pooja at Yamunotri Temple.

🚗 Return to Barkot.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Barkot.

 

🔹 About Yamunotri: This temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna, the daughter of Surya Dev (Sun God). The sacred river originates from the Champasar Glacier at 4,321 meters.

 


 

📅 Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (80 km / 4 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.

🛕 En route, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

🏨 Check-in at the hotel.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

 


 

📅 Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km / 8 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Early morning drive to Gangotri Temple.

🌊 Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River (Ganga).

🛕 Seek blessings at Gangotri Temple.

🚗 Return to Uttarkashi.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

 

🔹 About Gangotri: The 18th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga marks the spot where King Bhagirath meditated to bring the Ganges down from heaven.

 


 

📅 Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (200 km / 9 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Guptkashi, known for its Vishwanath Temple & Ardhnareshwar Temple.

🏨 Check-in at the hotel/camp.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Guptkashi.

 


 

📅 Day 6: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath (25 km / 2 Hrs Drive + 19 km Trek)

 

🚗 Drive to Sonprayag (local vehicle required for Gaurikund at extra cost).

🚶 Start the 19 km trek to Kedarnath (Pony/Palki/Helicopter available at additional cost).

🛕 Visit Kedarnath Temple & attend Sandhya Aarti.

🏨 Overnight stay in basic accommodation at Kedarnath.

 

🔹 About Kedarnath: Situated at 3,580 meters, this Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva is surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the Mandakini River.

 


 

📅 Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (19 km Trek + 25 km / 2 Hrs Drive)

 

🚶 Trek back to Sonprayag.

🚗 Drive to Guptkashi.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Guptkashi.

 


 

📅 Day 8: Guptkashi – Badrinath (200 km / 8 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath & Pipalkoti.

🛕 Visit Badrinath Temple in the evening.

🏨 Overnight stay in Pandukeshwar/Badrinath.

 

🔹 About Badrinath: Situated at 3,133 meters, the Badrinath Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Devotees first bathe in Tapt Kund (Hot Springs) before darshan.

 


 

📅 Day 9: Badrinath – Rudraprayag / Srinagar (200 km / 7 Hrs Drive)

 

🛕 Morning darshan at Badrinath Temple (if not done the previous day).

🚗 Drive to Rudraprayag / Srinagar.

📸 En route, visit Karnaprayag & Rudraprayag (sacred river confluences).

🏨 Overnight stay in Rudraprayag/Srinagar.

 


 

📅 Day 10: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (165 km / 5 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga capital of the world.

🛕 Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula & Munikireti.

🚗 Proceed to Haridwar for departure.

✈️ Drop-off at Haridwar Railway Station / Airport.

🙏 Tour concludes with divine blessings.
