Itinerary

📅 Day 1: Haridwar – Barkot (180 km / 7 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Pick-up from Haridwar Railway Station / Airport and proceed towards Barkot.

🌊 En route, optional visit to Kempty Falls (if time permits).

🏨 Check-in at the hotel/camp in Barkot.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Barkot.

 


 

📅 Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot

 

🚗 Drive to Janki Chatti (45 km).

🚶 Begin the trek (6 km) to Yamunotri (Pony/Palki available at extra cost).

🛕 Darshan & pooja at Yamunotri Temple.

🚗 Return to Barkot.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Barkot.

 

🔹 About Yamunotri: The sacred temple is dedicated to Goddess Yamuna and is the source of the Yamuna River. Devotees take a holy dip in the hot springs of Surya Kund before darshan.

 


 

📅 Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (80 km / 4 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Uttarkashi, a spiritual town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River.

🛕 Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Uttarkashi.

🏨 Check-in at the hotel & rest.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

 


 

📅 Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (200 km / 8 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Early morning drive to Gangotri Temple.

🌊 Take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River (Ganga).

🛕 Seek blessings at Gangotri Temple.

🚗 Return to Uttarkashi.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

 

🔹 About Gangotri: The 18th-century temple of Goddess Ganga marks the spot where the sacred river descended from heaven due to King Bhagirath’s penance.

 


 

📅 Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (200 km / 8 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Guptkashi, a town known for its ancient Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple.

🏨 Check-in at the hotel/camp.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Guptkashi.

 


 

📅 Day 6: Guptkashi – Sonprayag – Kedarnath – Guptkashi

 

🚗 Early morning drive to Sonprayag (local vehicle required to reach Gaurikund).

🚶 Trek (19 km) or hire Pony/Palki/Helicopter (at own cost) to Kedarnath Temple.

🛕 Seek blessings at Kedarnath Temple.

🚶 Trek back to Sonprayag & return to Guptkashi.

🍽️ Dinner & overnight stay in Guptkashi.

 

🔹 About Kedarnath: One of the 12 Jyotirlingas, the Kedarnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The Mandakini River flows beside the temple, adding to its divine beauty.

 


 

📅 Day 7: Guptkashi – Badrinath (200 km / 8 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Badrinath via Joshimath & Pipalkoti.

🛕 Visit Badrinath Temple in the evening.

🏨 Overnight stay in Pandukeshwar/Badrinath.

 

🔹 About Badrinath: The Badrinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, is one of the Char Dhams and an important Vaishnav pilgrimage site. Devotees take a dip in Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) before darshan.

 


 

📅 Day 8: Badrinath – Rudraprayag / Srinagar (185 km / 7 Hrs Drive)

 

🛕 Early morning darshan at Badrinath Temple (if not done the previous evening).

🚗 Drive towards Rudraprayag/Srinagar.

📸 En route, visit Karanprayag & Rudraprayag (confluences of sacred rivers).

🏨 Overnight stay in Rudraprayag/Srinagar.

 


 

📅 Day 9: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (165 km / 5 Hrs Drive)

 

🚗 Drive to Rishikesh, the yoga capital of the world.

🛕 Visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Munikireti.

🚗 Proceed to Haridwar for departure.

✈️ Drop-off at Haridwar Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey.

🙏 Tour concludes with divine blessings.
